PONY CLUB

Le poney club

At the Equestrian Club of Versailles, the pony club represents 50% of the activity. It is an essential gateway to the practice of horseback riding. The awareness of our young people and their learning to ride is essential to register them in a world turned towards respect for others and their environment. It is in this educational and playful approach that we welcome our future budding riders.

More than 10,000m² of out/indoor arenas, horse walker, lunging ring, paddocks and 1 forest at your disposal!

THE FACILITIES

The pony club has its own facilities which are suitable for shetlands and double ponies, including indoor riding arenas, stables, tack rooms and club house.

Our little riders and their companions evolve in a protected and reassuring environment, summer and winter alike.

THE CAVALRY

The CHV pony cavalry is made up of 50 shetlands and double ponies to adapt to the morphology of our young riders. All our ponies are trained and familiarized with children by professionals.

THE RIDING SCHOOL

Because horseback riding is above all a hobby, learning at the CHV begins with discovery and the establishment of a relationship of respect and friendship with the animal, knowledge of equestrian fundamentals and practice. in good conditions.

Discovering, having fun and learning are the key words of our pedagogy. Evolving towards the passage of Gallops Ponies then possibly participating in competitions is also proposed.

THE TEACHING TEAM

A team of several instructors is dedicated solely to welcoming and teaching children. Throughout the year and during school holidays, they organize fun and sporting themed events.

CHV teachers have one ambition: to enrich children with a real life experience while learning and having fun, in complete safety.

IN PRACTICE

LESSONS

Consult the weekly schedule of group lessons classified by age, discipline and level:

  • baby shetland

  • Shetland

  • Double-ponies

Lessons last from ½ hour to two hours per week and are organized from September to the end of June, without interruption during school holidays. 

​

Different formulas are offered, including the “Discovery” package for beginners wishing to discover horse riding on the basis of 7 trial sessions at the start of the year.

ACTIVITIES AND COURSES

Throughout the year, during weekends and school holidays, the CHV team offers many thematic activities in the form of a few hours or several days of training.

Discover show jumping, improve in dressage, go out in the forest, start work on foot...

Our club house and its restaurant will also welcome you comfortably.

THE CHV, A PLACE OF SHARING

The Equine Club of Versailles, which brings togethernumerous activities and rider profiles,  is conducive to exchanges and the sharing of knowledge through: the riding school, its professional training center, different equestrian disciplines open to all, competition, the club house-space catering, the little CHV shop…

The stable of owners,a space dedicated to members who board their own horse.

Swe are open to the business world. Horse riding and its environment are very good tools for training, motivating and thanking teams, but also for receiving customers and communicating with them.
