Equicoaching

Equicoaching to get to know each other better and develop your relational skills

Equi-coaching is also called horse coaching or horse-facilitated support. It is a technique used to establish a relationship between man and horse in order to develop his leadership, when used in a professional setting.
The Equine Club of Versailles calls on the best experts in equine coaching to define with you the outline of the desired training.

Why choose the horse to test and develop its ability to communicate?

The horse does not really have a capacity for reasoning, it bases its functioning exclusively on emotions. Horses thus have an almost immediate ability to apprehend their environment and they are experts in feeling emotions in their fellows, other species or in humans. As a result, they send us signals without filters that allow us to understand and measure our non-verbal communication within a group.

Why use equicoaching?

In the context of corporate training, equicoaching is a new and innovative method of learning management. It will enable employees to improve their performance and adapt to the environment. They will thus find the necessary resources to answer the questions by themselves, to accept and value themselves. Equicoaching also allows you to develop your ability to communicate differently, to improve the effectiveness of business exchanges. Training of this type is aimed primarily at companies that wish to put people back at the center of their management.

The link between the company and the learning of management during a training in equine coaching is natural. Indeed, the horse has a social behavior similar to that of humans, based on non-verbal communication which represents 90% of our communication.

Goals :

The accompaniment facilitated by the horse makes it possible to:

  • Develop abilities to perceive non-verbal signals to increase the feeling of security useful for uniting and motivating

  • Develop consistent and appropriate communication in order to increase the feeling of trust and enable cooperation

  • Align posture with thought, feeling and actions

  • Use appropriately and at the right time, the exercise of authority or influence

The content of an equine coaching training therefore concerns subjects such as professional communication, management and leadership, team building or even the strengthening of team cohesion and performance.

How does an equine coaching session take place?

Unlike traditional training based on taking notes to learn and reproduce, the goal here is not to enrich you with knowledge related to your job, but rather to become aware, through practice, of how you communicate with your collaborators and find solutions to improve your posture and your communication.

The sessions are therefore divided into several parts. After an information and exchange session, the trainer proceeds to demonstrations. You are then invited to interact with the horse in a fun way, during exercises under the watchful eye of your guide. Consultants specializing in equine coaching accompany you to debrief each step and relate your experience to the professional context in which you operate.

"The notion of personal development with my colleagues and the horse in itself have always left me a little skeptical... but I must admit that the horse, as a revealer, has allowed me easily and in an obvious way to progress and knowing myself better in fact and without filter! »
